great article. over the past couple years i have become an avid tennis fan myself and tried to actually follow the sport. from what i have heard, marat safin has all the talent in the world but he self destructs as you mentioned. but this wimbledon run of his showed us that he still has it rather than he no longer does. yes he was dismantled by roger today but thats common for roger. i think this is the start of safins coming out party and i think he will continue to make runs like he did at wimbledon in the other major championships. maybe he needed to see he could do it again, which he proved he could. maybe that goes a long way? ill be interested in seeing where we goes from here.
