a whole lot of tennis myself, but I do admire their skill and athleticism. So unfortunately, I can't vote for or against your article either. Don't take that personally, or as a stab to get back at your vote. I just truly don't watch enough.

On another note, I would like to thank you for reading my article! I too am a Yankee fan, and it would mean more to me if he participated. That venue has so much history, and let's face it, I don't think A-Rod is ever going to show up in October, so why not have him light up for us there? He may help get us to the Playoffs, but it's our pitching, defense, and role players that will matter then! And of course Jeter will be huge as well! A-Rod doesn't warrant his paycheck, and the least he could do is show his admiration, as well as a thank you nod to the fans for putting up with his crap!

but he will show up, hes the best player in the game and he will leave his mark on playoff history. lets hope our pitching holds up otherwise he might not get that chance this year. those rays are something else.

What about A-Rod's playoff numbers makes you so sure that he'll show up? That is my ultimate question for you, WHAT MAKES YOU SO SURE? Is it faith in his ability? Cause I really can't hitch my wagon to him based on what ability he's shown, or not shown, already. Even the possibility of a break-out playoff run isn't enough for me to change my pattern of thought. I believe that Abreu, Giambi, Posada, and especially Jeter, are going to have to be exceptionally good while our pitching, defense and role players need to be consistent. A-Rod just isn't in the play-off equation for me at this point!
